unfortunately i havent got a lot to say recently, i fell ill a couple of weeks agoand havent been able to make it into uni, therefore missing some vital information. of course i’m not happy about this at all butthere isnt much i can do when dosed up to the eyballs with every anti flu and cold medicine available to man! :)

to add insult to injury this also means i’m slightly behind on some of my work.

there is nothing to fear tho as i shall catch up :)

i did however manage to catch julio’s screening and i must say i found it very very interesing and i was amazed at how music can fit animation so well, but also can be un-empathetic at the same time.

hopefully i will catch up on what i have missed in the next few days :)

Following on from week one we were spending more time on the first task of cutting up and editing a specified track in logic.

we continued to learn more about the beat mapping function and cross fading. i will hopefully learn more about these functions as i use them more and more.

So far this week i have only learnt a couple of things that are new to me about logic, i even taught the lecturer something about logic. Granted it was only a shortcut but still its beter than nothing :) .

i have learnt how to do post cross fading and all that goes along with that and i also learnt about the beat mapping function within logic.

i feel this knowledge could be of great use to me in the future and i wish to learn more about these functions.
